MARANATHA GUESTHOUSE TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
WE HAVE A STRICT CANCELLATION AND NON ARRIVAL POLICY – PLEASE READ IT BEFORE CONFIRMING THE BOOKING. Please also make sure you or your clients are aware of our policy before making a booking at our establishment.
PAYMENT, CANCELLATION AND NON ARRIVAL POLICY
100% deposit is required to confirm all bookings.
ACCEPTABLE MEANS OF PAYMENT
We accept MasterCard, Amex, Diners and Visa credit/debit cards, Electronic Fund Transfers and cash (cash only by prior arrangement). We may not accept any foreign currency.
See below for penalty fees that will be charged for cancellations:
7 days or less before arrival = 100% (of booking total)
8 – 14 days before arrival = 100% (of deposit)
15 – 21 days before arrival = 50% (of deposit)
22 – 30 days before arrival = 25% (of deposit)
NO SHOWS and premature departures will be charged the full accommodation rate.
We do not pay third parties for any other services on your behalf. If monies are deposited into our account incorrectly, we do not refund until cleared with our bank and will only refund directly into the original payers’ account, less any admin, banking and transaction fees. N.B! NO cash payouts will be made to guests!
We only have 9 rooms available and cannot make up for lost business. We have a live calendar with NightsBridge which connects to many websites around the world giving instant online availability. Guest are then requested to use the Pay bridge system on NightsBridge to pay for their direct online booking Once a room is booked, it is no longer available to sell on these websites. All verbal bookings must be confirmed via email and will be binding once the invoice has been sent as a confirmation of the booking. This liability arises irrespective of whether or not we are holding a deposit from you.
Companies/ Travel agencies operating on a Bill back/Voucher basis will also be liable to pay cancellation fees if cancelled/non arrival/no stay, whether we have a voucher or not.
Reservations are subject to terms and conditions and indemnity forms are to be completed on check-in. All guests are to provide their ID on arrival. Right of admission reserved.
3. DAMAGE TO CONTENTS / PROPERTY
In the event of any damages to the room, property or premises, due to bad behaviour and carelessness, a suitable amount will be added to your final bill to rectify the damage and/or replace the item(s) affected.
Maranatha Guesthouse and its owners or employees do not accept any liability for any loss, injury or damage, howsoever arising, sustained by any person or their property in or around the premises. Guests agree on behalf of themselves and the members of their parties that neither the establishment, its owners, employees nor agents shall be responsible for any injury or death of any person or the loss or destruction of or damage to any property upon the premises, whether arising from fire, theft or any cause and by whomsoever caused or arising from the negligence (gross or otherwise) or wrongful act of any person staying at the guesthouse.
Children are only permitted if accompanied by adults and prior written arrangement with management has been confirmed.
Only guests specified by name, at the time of the booking, may occupy the rooms. The guest may note assign, sublet or share possession of the serviced room. Maranatha Guesthouse reserves the right to refuse admittance to any guest if they are in breach of this condition.
As we do not have 24 hour reception, it is required that our guests check in between 2 PM to 6 PM.
Late arrivals: To be arranged in advance with management. Where flights are delayed, we request that guests notify the guesthouse of the delay immediately, from the departing airport, with their new ETA in order to arrange staff.
Early arrivals: Early check-in is only possible if the room is ready for occupation. If not, you are welcome to leave your luggage at the guest house while you go out and explore, or you are welcome to have a cup of tea and relax in our lounge or garden until your room is ready.
Before 9.30 AM – late check-outs will result in an extra days charge. You are welcome to have a cup of tea and relax in our lounge upstairs should your departure and transfer be later then our check out time or we can hold your luggage until you are ready to depart.
